In the next ten years I can see myself with a stable job. I also want to have at least one child, and live with my babymother. I need a house or apartment to live in and I am going to need a car to drive too.

I don’t know what kind of work I’ll be doing but I just want and need a stable good paying job. I can also use some of the skills I obtained from Youthbuild to get a job. I wouldn’t mind construction because I don’t mind dirt plus it’s a good paying job in some cases.

My child will come somewhere down the line. I’m just a young black man in America just starting my life. I’m trying to make a change for the better. I’ve changed my ways a little but I’m still working on it.  I think I’m doing good in school collectively, but I don’t know. I’m just glad to be in school. I haven’t been in school for about two years so it feels good to do homework in front of my peoples. They are acting like they’re proud of me so… you know whatever keeps the family happy.

    Hey Steve,

I’m pretty proud of you, so keep up the good work.
What advice would you give your younger cousin or brother about how to be sucessful in life? What values and principles do you plan to teach you child?
